As part of B-Corp’s guiding principles, certified brands must regularly complete a recertification process to ensure the organization’s standards continue to be met. Baabuk has just completed this process and we’re eager to announce our official B-Corp Certification renewal. This recertification comes with overall impact score increase of over 10%, to a score of 89.6 points.

When we launched the Program, we weren’t sure what the result would be. But, like always, the Baabuk community came through and extended a generous amount of support. We’ve received over 150 contributions from customers around the world. Thanks to you and your generosity, we’ve been able to supply frontline workers here in Switzerland with pairs of slippers – a small but hopefully meaningful gift of gratitude for their courageous work.

We are witnessing a strange moment. New rules are being applied that will redefine our habits and challenge our comfort zones.

In light of these changes and to ensure social distancing, we moved our family to our mountain chalet where the adventure of Baabuk started back in 2013. We began homeschooling and we're finding creative ways to pass the time with our two daughters. On one side, we should be grateful to be here and on the other side, we feel very powerless and uncertain like millions of other about what will happen tomorrow.
